Senior Web Business Analyst

We will count on you to:

• Translate business strategies and objectives into business requirements
• Provide traceability of business requirements to IT solutions and ensure system testing encompasses existing capabilities of the solution as well as future function point requirements.
• Facilitate working sessions to elicit requirements from stakeholders and team-members
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to translate business strategies and objectives into epic stories and user stories
• Manage the product backlog and roadmap
• Analyse, design, and document "as is" and "to be" business processes
• Ensures development community has a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
• Support the business in conducting and facilitating final acceptance tests for solutions with the user community, including development of UAT test scenarios and test scripts.
• Develops, delivers and evaluates training and supplemental materials. Partners with business and IT to manage scope with each release

What you need to have:

• B.A. or B.S. (Information Systems, Business Management, Computer Science, or related area is preferred) or equivalent work experience
• 5- 7+ years' experience in IT or related industry
• Experience working independently to deliver results.
• Strong experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria to express requirements.
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Experience using Scrum processes
• Experience providing product management support such as prioritization and backlog grooming
• Experience writing user stories
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and work with team members, clients, and stakeholders to achieve the desired business outcome
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
• Experience with web services integration, including defining and testing APIs

What makes you stand out:

• Previous development experience a plus, but not required
• Java or other web services language
• Experience defining web user interfaces as plus, but not required
